Dermot Kiernan
DERMOT KIERNAN holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a Master’s Degree in Medieval Music Performance and Musicology from The National University of Ireland, Maynooth, and did his post-Master’s work at the University of Paris-Sorbonne. He has appeared as a soloist at Dublin’s National Concert Hall and The Royal Dublin Society, and in 2009 was appointed choir leader of the Aontas Choral Ensemble as part of Celtic Woman, with whom he toured for six years. Since moving to Los Angeles, Dermot has worked with several ensembles including Tesserae Baroque, The Golden Bridge Choir, and currently sings with the Los Angeles Master Chorale. In 2019 he joined the acclaimed world tour of Lagrime di San Pietro (Orlando di Lasso) staged by Peter Sellars. His voice can also be heard on many TV and film soundtracks including Star Wars Episode XI: The Rise of Skywalker, ABC's Quantico, and Disney's Jungle Cruise.
