Adrien Redford
If you look up "multipotentialite" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of Adrien Redford. He proudly boasts his status as a novice auto mechanic, a seasoned customer service team director, a film and critical theory student, and a professional napper. Adrien is also a non-profit arts administrator, fundraiser, and artistic director, having held posts at the LA Master Chorale as an Audience Engagement Coordinator, the VOCES8 Foundation as a Development Coordinator, and currently as the President and Co-Artistic Director for PRISM Choral Ensemble. He enjoys all of the adventures his work affords him, but in the end, the high school choir nerd inside rules the day.
Adrien is a multi-genre artist and celebrates the variety of sounds and styles he interacts with from gig to gig, but his love rests in early Renaissance choral polyphony. He is also remarkably attracted to the sounds one would hear during an Evensong service, saying, "You never forget your first Howells." He has worked and substituted at churches including St. James LA, San Marino Presbyterian, Hour of Power at Shepherd's Grove, and St. John's Episcopal in Rancho Santa Margarita.
Adrien feels lucky to be an LA Master Chorale roster chorister, and to have served as a bass-baritone with the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley Master Chorale, and ConstelLAtion, and considers it a privilege to also have sung on three film scores. Adrien was also a three-year VOCES8 Scholars Program member and regularly sings in the choirs at his alma mater, Pomona College.
The 2023|24 Season marks Adrien's fifth with PRISM, and he is delighted to share another year of stunning music-making with his friends.
